1st Commercial Realty Group, Inc., is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Accounting Manager with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience to manage all aspects of property accounting and financial reporting.

 

Position Summary: The Commercial Accounting Manager is responsible for the accounting functions relating to the Commercial portfolios and all other investment properties. This position requires a very hands-on Accounting Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Manage the day-to-day tasks and duties along with supervision of accountants and clerks. Provide all accounting support to the Controller accounting staff. Position requires an extremely professional, ethical and team contributor who can work with little to no supervision. The successful candidate will uphold and promote the companies Vision, Core Values, and Culture

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare month-end Close Financials
  • Reporting Cash Management
  • Review financials for a portfolio of properties
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Manage new acquisition on boarding including preparing opening entries.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • CAM reconciliations.
  • Reconciliation of tenant accounts, as necessary.
  • Annual budgets.
  • Tenant billing
  • Property management fee calculations.
  • Lease agreement review and setup in Yardi.
  • Assist with special projects related to quarterly close reporting process, budgets, internal audit, external audit, investor, and lender requirements

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in commercial accounting or related field.
  • Experience in managing/supervising 12+ employees.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in commercial accounting.
  • Experience with Yardi software.
  • Understand lease agreements and lease terms.
  • Familiar with Lease Abstracting and Transition.
  • Experience with Acquisitions
  • Proficient in Microsoft software.
  • Ability to learn employer specific web base software programs.

  • Experience in preparing monthly and quarterly reporting package.
  • Ability to handle complex work efficiently and effectively.
